Starting January 1, 2027, individuals with formal income will be able to voluntarily pay a monthly social tax of 12% of the minimum wage so that non-working family members can accrue pensionable service.

Starting January 1, 2027, individuals with formal income will be able to voluntarily pay a monthly social tax of 12% of the minimum wage so that non-working family members can accrue pensionable service.
The decree also outlines other changes: starting October 1, citizens working under civil law contracts who pay social tax at the rate set for the self-employed will automatically receive credit for one year of pensionable service. From April 1, 2027, banks will begin distributing pension payouts to beneficiaries through unified accounts. The Central Bank will introduce Face ID biometric identification on November 1 for issuing bank cards to pensioners.
