Uzbek marketplace Uzum Market has restored operations across its website, mobile app, and seller portal following an Oct. 8 technical outage.
The disruption lasted two days. Users were unable to log into their accounts or place and pick up orders. The company said the outage was triggered by technical maintenance ahead of the high season and upcoming sales campaigns.
Through the end of October, the marketplace will offer sellers free logistics and storage. Shoppers who did not receive their orders due to the disruption will receive promo codes for their next purchase within a week. Franchise pickup point operators will receive compensation, and storage periods for orders at pickup points are being extended.
Developers continue testing the updated infrastructure and cautioned that intermittent glitches may still affect certain service features.
