The Central Bank of Uzbekistan, commercial banks, payment organizations, and payment system operators have deployed the InfoCards system to share information on why bank cards are blocked.
The system makes it possible to quickly pinpoint which law enforcement agency blocked a card, when it happened, and why. Previously, citizens had to contact the Central Bank; now they can get answers directly from the commercial bank that issued the card. Using InfoCards, the bank pulls up the required details and clarifies the reason for the freeze. The system is designed to streamline customer inquiries, reduce administrative workloads, and make banking services faster and more transparent.
