According to spot.uz, Uzbekistan’s Competition Committee received 1,230 e-commerce complaints in the first nine months of 2026, with over half targeting the Uzum ecosystem.
Of these, 446 complaints (36.2%) involved the Uzum Market marketplace and 184 (14.9%) concerned the Uzum Nasiya installment service. The remaining complaints related to Alif Shop (7.5%), the Ishonch retail chain (5.6%), and Yandex services (over 5%).
In 57.2% of cases, the Committee resolved the issues in favor of consumers, provided legal clarifications in 36.8%, and redirected 2.7% of the appeals to other agencies. The regulator identified systemic issues across the sector: trader identification, improvements to electronic contracts and installment services, delivery and refund mechanisms, the liability of online platforms, and out-of-court dispute resolution.
