Fintech Association of Uzbekistan partners with Singapore’s Global Fintech Institute
The Fintech Association of Uzbekistan has received official partner status with the Singapore-based Global Fintech Institute (GFI). The agreement gives local specialists access to international certification standards and educational programs in financial technology.
According to the association, the collaboration is formalized under the Affiliated Fintech Association Partner status. The Global Fintech Institute is a non-profit think tank and certification body headquartered in Singapore. The organization conducts research, shapes industry standards, and connects regulators, businesses, and educational institutions.
The institute’s main products are the Chartered Fintech Professional (CFtP) and Chartered Fintech Associate (CFtA) certification programs. These were created with input from over a hundred academic and industry partners worldwide.
For Uzbekistan, this provides access to an Asian knowledge base. The local digital finance market is growing rapidly, with banks and payment services competing for developers, analysts, and product managers. Access to GFI programs will allow association members to use ready-made educational standards rather than building them from scratch. The partnership also involves launching joint projects and supporting fintech startups.
Synchronizing with Singaporean certification standards helps the local market train specialized personnel for digital banks and ecosystems faster.
The initiative’s future depends on how quickly the association can integrate GFI programs into local educational institutions and corporate training centers. Large market players interested in upgrading their teams’ skills to international standards will likely be the first to test the collaboration’s results.
