National digital education platform eMaktab has teamed up with Uzum Bank to launch an online payment service for school services in Uzbekistan.
The service covers more than 10,900 schools and allows parents to pay for tuition, meals, extracurricular activities, and other school expenses via the eMaktab website or mobile app using bank cards. Educational institutions can automate financial accounting and reduce administrative overhead. School onboarding is free.
Parents will be able to track payment statuses, receive due-date reminders, and view transaction histories alongside digital receipts. In the initial phase, the service is available to private schools integrated with eMaktab. The platform plans to gradually expand features and its partner network.
