According to spot.uz, total net profit in Uzbekistan’s banking sector reached 15.26 trillion UZS between January and September 2026, up 40.3% year-on-year.
Privately owned Ipoteka-Bank topped the rankings with 2.07 trillion UZS in net profit. NBU ranked second with 1.55 trillion UZS, followed by Hamkorbank with 1.48 trillion UZS, Kapitalbank with 1.31 trillion UZS, and Uzpromstroybank with 1.2 trillion UZS.
Ipoteka-Bank’s profit jumped by 1.97 trillion UZS year-on-year, accounting for 44.9% of the sector’s total net profit growth. Excluding this bank, profit across the rest of the banking system grew by 22.4%. Two lenders posted losses: TBC Bank reported a loss of 69.6 billion UZS, and Mikrokreditbank lost 50.4 billion UZS.
