Guavapay is a fintech founded in 2017 by Azerbaijani entrepreneur Orkhan Nasibov, headquartered in London with operations in Azerbaijan, the US, Canada, Spain, Singapore, and Turkey. Products include multi-currency accounts, online payment processing, corporate and merchant accounts, card issuing, cross-border transfers, and e-wallets; its flagship app is MyGuava. The Azerbaijani subsidiary opened in late 2024 and received an electronic money institution (EMI) license from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, launching services in 2025. IMPORTANT: In 2026, the group's UK entity faced a Mastercard lawsuit and a winding-up petition, and the founder stepped down from the board of directors; however, regulatory press reports indicate the Azerbaijani license remains valid.
