About the company
GoldenPay launched in December 2008 after securing online licenses and certifications from Visa (Verified by Visa) and Mastercard (MasterCard SecureCode), becoming Azerbaijan's first internet payment provider. HOTNET was the first connected merchant. The company later onboarded hundreds of merchants, playing a key role in developing the country's e-commerce. In April 2011, GoldenPay launched the hesab.az online services portal, allowing users to pay utility, mobile, internet, and other bills, as well as buy cinema tickets and insurance. The company provides internet acquiring based on international payment systems.
