- March 5, 2026MilestoneThe Central Bank of Azerbaijan approved the reorganization of Bank BTB and its conversion into a non-bank credit organization (NBCO). Deposits and the loan portfolio were transferred to the International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB).
- October 2019MilestoneRamiz Mehdiyev leaves his post as Head of the Presidential Administration. Shortly after, the bank becomes loss-making.
