In July, the aggregate net profit of Kazakh banks reached 200.9 billion tenge, up 26% from June.
Halyk Bank and Kaspi Bank maintained the top two spots with profits of 75.6 billion and 41.2 billion tenge, respectively. Freedom Bank pushed ForteBank out of the top five: Freedom Bank’s profit surged by 236% to 9.6 billion tenge for the month, while ForteBank’s fell by 66% to 4.8 billion tenge.
