After a 20.8% drop in the first quarter, demand partially rebounded by 18.7% in the second. Despite the decline in applications, the volume of new mortgage originations grew by 12.4% to 1.1 trillion tenge, driven by the expansion of Otbasy Bank programs, where disbursements surged 32.8% to 916.7 billion tenge, while market-rate bank products dropped 39% to 161.5 billion tenge.
