Regulator mandates insurers to disclose agent commission rates

Kazakhstan’s Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market has introduced a requirement for insurance companies and agents to inform clients about commission sizes in advance, stating the amount in tenge and as a percentage of the premium.

Agency Deputy Chairman Nurzhan Tursunkhanov noted that the new rule will help citizens better understand insurance terms and choose the most suitable insurance products.
