Insurers’ revenues rose 22.3% to 1.09 trillion tenge, but expenses climbed faster, jumping 29.1% to 991.5 billion tenge. The life insurance segment saw the steepest drop, with profit falling 76% from 44.8 billion to 10.7 billion tenge. In general insurance, profit grew 10.6%, rising from 64.3 billion to 71.1 billion tenge.
