According to kapital.kz, Otbasy Bank launched a new lending mechanism under the Nauryz program on October 15, allowing borrowers to secure an interim loan and purchase an apartment without meeting a minimum rating score or holding deposit funds for six months.
The new mechanism enables clients to buy housing from partner developers faster. Previously, obtaining an interim loan required a 50% deposit of the loan amount and a minimum rating score of 5, which meant keeping the money in the account for at least six months.
BI Group is the first developer to join the new scheme, offering 600 apartments across Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and Atyrau. Agreements with developers SAT NS and QazaqStroy are currently being finalized. The interest rate on the interim loan stands at 8.5% per annum (effective annual rate starting from 9%). The bank also extended the validity of loan approvals for about 2,000 program participants from November 12 to December 30, 2026.
