The Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic decided on August 24 to keep the policy rate at 12.00%, with the decision taking effect on August 25.
According to the regulator, annual inflation in the country reached 11.7%, with consumer prices rising by 7.3% since the start of 2026. The Board’s next scheduled meeting on the policy rate is set for October 26, 2026.
