According to the @NBKR_news Telegram channel, fraudsters are posing as financial advisers and using fake certificates allegedly from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to convince people of their legitimacy.
The scammers attach fake photos of certificates purportedly issued by the National Bank, along with clones of official websites, and promise loans at a 1% annual rate. To pressure potential victims, they use phrases like “This is an exceptional offer!” or “Act right now!”.
The National Bank reiterated that it does not issue loans to individuals and does not provide financial consultations via messaging apps. The regulator advises the public not to trust documents sent by unknown individuals in messaging apps, avoid clicking suspicious links, never share passport or card details, and verify information exclusively through official sources.
