National Bank of Kyrgyzstan tightens transaction monitoring rules

On October 1, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted Resolution No. 2026-P-12/48-2-(NPA) to strengthen measures mitigating terrorist financing and money laundering risks in banking operations.

The resolution amends the regulation on minimum internal control requirements for commercial banks and the regulation on procedures for cash foreign exchange transactions. The document has been published on the official website of the National Bank under the banking legislation section.
