Kyrgyzstan’s MBANK became the general sponsor of the World Nomad Cuisine food festival at Issyk-Kul and deployed its MPay payment service, which functions without an internet connection.
The festival kicked off on September 4 in the Kyrchyn gorge and four other locations across the Issyk-Kul region as part of the 6th World Nomad Games. More than 150 food stalls opened across all venues, drawing around 200,000 visitors daily. The payment service allows guests to pay for food and goods at ethnic bazaars without cash or searching for ATMs. MBANK operates under National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic license No. 014.
