Kazakhstan’s KZI Bank raised its maximum rates on tenge deposits starting August 17: up to 17% per annum for 6 months, 14% for 3 months, and 16% for 12 months.
The decision was made by the bank’s Board of Directors on August 13. Deposits are insured under the mandatory deposit insurance system with a maximum guarantee of 20 million tenge.
