SME Lending in Kazakhstan Grows 29.6% Year-on-Year

The National Bank of Kazakhstan reported that small and medium-sized business lending increased by 29.6% year-on-year, while the corporate portfolio rose by 17.1%. Over the past 12 months, 22 trillion tenge in loans were issued to businesses.

At the same time, the retail loan portfolio grew by 14.5%, and unsecured consumer loans increased by 9.4%.
