In July, Kazakhstan’s exchange offices sold 126.5 million tenge more in rubles than they bought — reversing the currency flow toward net sales for the first time in five months.
In June, by contrast, exchange offices bought 17.5 billion tenge more in rubles than they sold. The year-on-year shift is even sharper: in July 2025, net ruble purchases by exchange offices stood at 53.2 billion tenge.
