In July, Kazakhstan’s banks posted a net profit of 201 billion tenge, up 26% from June when profits dropped to 159.9 billion tenge, the National Bank reported.
Compared to July 2025, bank profits fell by 23%. Since the beginning of the year, banks have earned 1.39 trillion tenge in net profit. Interest income in July stood at 906 billion tenge, while non-interest income rose by 9% to 11.4 trillion tenge.
