Starting October 2, 2026, Kazakhstan’s Kaspi.kz changed the terms for its tenge Kaspi Savings Deposit, cutting the annual effective rate from 19% to 18% per year, while the nominal rate fell from 17.52% to 16.67%.
The change does not apply to deposits opened on or before October 1: their 19% rate remains in effect until the end of the current three-month term. Upon automatic renewal after the term ends, the rate in effect at the time of renewal will apply.
The minimum amount to open the deposit is 100,000 tenge, with a three-month maturity. If a client closes the deposit early, accrued interest is not paid out. Terms for the standard Kaspi Deposit remain unchanged.
