Fintech holding Kaspi.kz has signed a contract to pre-purchase 70% of the resources of the AI-Farabium supercomputer from Kazakh operator Kazakhtelecom for two years, the operator’s chairman Bagdat Mussin announced at the Kazakhstan Growth Forum’26 in Almaty. Mussin noted that the supercomputer’s capacity is also used by portfolio companies of the Samruk-Kazyna national wealth fund. The AI-Farabium supercomputer was launched in October 2025 with a performance of 1,500 petaflops and ranks 103rd in the global ranking of the most powerful supercomputers.
