Kazakh fintech company Solva Group announced the exit of 13 minority shareholders, whose stakes were transferred to the private company AG Holding Ltd.
Fintech company Solva Group Ltd. announced a restructuring of its shareholder base. As a result of the deal, AG Holding Ltd. acquired a 9.397% stake in Solva Group, and 13 minority shareholders exited the company.
Solva Group’s core shareholders Alexander Dunaev and Boris Batin plan to sell their 49% stake to Astana-registered AG Holding Ltd. The transaction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026 once all necessary regulatory approvals are obtained. Strategic investor Neo Crystal Holdings Ltd. will retain its 40% stake in the company.
Solva Group is undergoing a transformation: the company is moving away from traditional lending toward an IT platform for small and medium-sized businesses. The microfinance organization OnlineKazFinance (operating under the Solva brand) is in an active phase of transforming into a bank.
