Kazakhstan's inflation slows to 10.2% from 12.9% a year earlier

National Bank of Kazakhstan Governor Timur Suleimenov reported that inflation dropped from 12.9% in September 2025 to 10.2% in September 2026.

The decline has continued for ten months. To stabilize inflation further, the National Bank maintains a tight monetary policy designed to keep tenge assets attractive and rein in excess demand.
