Kazakhstan’s State Annuity Company has launched an online service enabling employers to independently take out mandatory workplace accident insurance without visiting an office.
The entire process is available online: from registration and data entry to calculating quotes, generating the policy, and signing it. Documents are uploaded via the portal, with part of the information pulled automatically from state databases and the Unified Insurance Database. Executing a contract requires a valid corporate digital signature.
Mandatory insurance currently covers about 3.5 million workers, up by 1.13 million from a year earlier. By the end of 2026, the company plans to increase the number of participating employers to 130,000.
