Eurasian Development Bank and Oman sign host country agreement

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the Ministry of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman have signed an agreement on the terms of the Bank’s presence in Oman during the Sultan’s state visit to Kazakhstan.

The document was signed by Oman’s Minister of Finance Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi and EDB Chairman of the Management Board Nikolai Podguzov in the presence of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Sultanate of Oman will become the Bank’s eighth shareholder and its first member state from the Gulf region. The agreement reflects both parties’ interest in long-term partnership, sustainable investment, and expanding regional ties.
