According to kapital.kz, Bank CenterCredit has acted as a senior lender in the syndicated financing for Almaty International Airport arranged by Bank of America.
BCC provided $150 million as part of the airport’s overall $670 million financing package. This marks one of the largest international syndicated deals involving a Kazakh bank, aimed at refinancing existing debt and supporting the development of the country’s largest airport.
BCC Vice President Nurlan Shegebayev noted that the bank’s participation as a senior lender demonstrates its expertise in structured and syndicated finance. Almaty International Airport served around 12 million passengers in 2025, against a design capacity of 14 million passengers per year.
