According to tengrinews.kz, the Asian Development Bank has approved a second tranche of 20 billion tenge for Otbasy Bank’s Umay women’s mortgage program.
The funds are expected to arrive at Otbasy Bank soon. The bank will announce the application launch date separately.
The second tranche is more than double the first one of 9 billion tenge disbursed in August. As of October 12, 366 loans have been issued under the program, with another 296 applications being processed. In total, the bank received 855 applications during the August intake.
