Altyn Bank has introduced its new “Altyn Uya” mortgage program featuring a fixed rate between 7% and 16% per annum and a down payment starting at 20% of the property value.
Under the program terms, clients can secure a mortgage with a down payment from 20% of the real estate value without waiting to save half the amount. The borrower applies for the mortgage, secures bank approval, and places their own funds into a guarantee deposit. The bank then issues a mortgage loan covering the full value of the property.
The interest rate of 7% to 16% per annum (effective annual rate between 7.23% and 17.23%) is fixed for the entire loan term. The maximum loan amount reaches up to 175 million tenge, with a term of up to 15 years. Funds in the guarantee deposit yield 0.1% per annum and go toward paying off the remaining debt balance at the end of the term. Borrowers can repay the loan early starting from day one after disbursement.
In the near future, Altyn Bank plans to partner with development companies under the program, enabling clients to purchase completed homes and off-plan properties through equity participation agreements.
