Kazakhstan’s financial consumer protection agency reviewed 14.7 thousand complaints between the start of the year and September 1, 2026.
The banking sector accounted for the largest share of complaints at 47.7%, followed by microfinance organizations at 37.8% and collection agencies at 8.1%.
Financial market entities faced four supervisory recommendations, four written orders, and 11 fines totaling 5.6 million tenge.
