DAR (Группа DAR)

DAR (dar.io) is a Kazakhstani digital product group founded by Alidar Utemuratov, positioned as "creating digital products to improve people's quality of life." The portfolio spans several industries: fintech via the Dossym microfinance organization (business microloans under an ARDFM license); corporate software through Darlean, a business management automation platform; EdTech with 5Q University / DAR University; and telecom via TNS Global (wholesale telecom infrastructure, over 14,500 km of proprietary fiber, and the TNS Express Hong Kong–Frankfurt route), which fully transitioned to DAR Group in 2024 after buying out VEON's stake. It also covers sports and media with the NAIZA.tv MMA promotion and DAR-Team, alongside AI solutions, chatbots, and Rewards gamification tools. The group remains little-known outside Kazakhstan, despite owning a Eurasian-scale telecom backbone and a licensed MFO.
